This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which payments made through Calendyfy may be refunded. It applies to Pro plan subscriptions paid to Calendyfy and to booking payments made by customers to businesses that use the platform.
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for payments made through Calendyfy. It covers two distinct types of payment: (a) Pro plan subscription payments made by business owners to Calendyfy, and (b) booking payments made by customers to businesses that use Calendyfy. Different rules apply to each, and they are described separately below.
Pro plan subscriptions are processed through Paystack for businesses registered in Nigeria, and through Paddle for businesses registered outside Nigeria. For international subscriptions, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, meaning Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction and processes any approved refund.
If you are not satisfied with the Pro plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial Pro subscription payment. This applies only to the first payment on a new subscription, not to renewals. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.
Subscription renewals are billed automatically in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Renewal payments are non-refundable. To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel your subscription from your dashboard before the renewal date. You will retain Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period after the 14-day window has passed. When you cancel, Pro features remain available until your current period ends, after which the account reverts to the Free plan.
To request a Pro subscription refund, email hello@calendyfy.com from the email address on your account, including your business name and the approximate date of payment. Nigerian subscription refunds are processed by Calendyfy via Paystack; international subscription refunds are processed through Paddle. Approved refunds are typically completed within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
When a customer pays for a booking through a Calendyfy-powered page, that payment is for a service or space provided by an independent business, not by Calendyfy. Refund and cancellation terms for bookings are set by each individual business owner. Calendyfy is a technology intermediary and is not a party to the agreement between a business and its customer.
If you are a customer seeking a refund for a booking, you should contact the business you booked with directly. Calendyfy does not adjudicate refund disputes between businesses and their customers and is not responsible for issuing refunds on a business’s behalf.
Where a business issues a refund to a customer for a booking, the 1.4% Calendyfy platform commission and the applicable payment processor fees for that transaction are non-refundable, as the processing service was already rendered.
Bookings made for zero-price (free) services involve no payment and are therefore not subject to any refund.
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at hello@calendyfy.com before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank. We will work with you to resolve the issue directly. Calendyfy reserves the right to suspend accounts associated with fraudulent chargebacks.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify affected users via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Calendyfy after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
For any questions about refunds, contact us at hello@calendyfy.com or write to: Calendyfy, Lagos, Nigeria.
