Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Calendyfy platform. These Terms govern your access to and use of Calendyfy as both a business owner and as a customer making bookings through a Calendyfy-powered page.
By creating an account or using the Calendyfy platform in any capacity, whether as a business owner or as a customer making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use Calendyfy.
Calendyfy is an AI-powered booking and appointment management platform designed for African small and medium-sized businesses. It enables businesses to accept service appointments and space rentals online, collect payments, and communicate with customers automatically. Calendyfy operates as a technology intermediary and is not a party to the service agreements between business owners and their customers.
To use Calendyfy as a business owner, you must register with a valid email address and phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use Calendyfy. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@calendyfy.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
The Free plan is available to all registered business owners at no monthly charge. It includes core booking functionality, unlimited services and spaces, AI booking chat, and WhatsApp and email notifications.
The Pro plan is billed in advance on three cycles: ₦5,000/month, ₦13,000/quarter (saving ₦2,000 compared to monthly, approximately 13% off), or ₦45,000/year (saving ₦15,000 compared to monthly, approximately 25% off). Pro unlocks iFrame embeds, custom logo and banner uploads, staff management, advanced analytics with CSV export, and walk-in booking mode.
Calendyfy charges a platform commission of 1.4% on every confirmed paid booking, on both the Free and Pro plans. This commission is separate from payment processor fees and is automatically deducted before payouts are calculated. Free bookings (where the business sets the service price to zero) are not subject to any Calendyfy commission.
For Nigerian payments processed via Paystack, a fee of 1.5% + ₦100 per transaction applies, capped at ₦2,000. Combined with the Calendyfy commission, the total effective fee per paid booking is approximately 3%. Paddle fees apply for international transactions. These fees are charged per confirmed transaction.
For each service or space, the business owner may choose who bears the combined platform and payment processor fees: (a) the business absorbs the fees, meaning the customer pays only the listed price and the business receives the net amount after deductions; or (b) the fees are passed to the customer, meaning the customer is charged the listed price plus the applicable fees at checkout. This setting is configured per service or space and must be disclosed to customers at the point of booking.
We reserve the right to change plan pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing Pro subscribers will be notified before any price change affects their renewal.
When a customer initiates a paid booking, a temporary hold is created on the requested time slot for 10 minutes. If payment is not completed within 10 minutes, the hold expires and the slot is released.
A paid booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. Free bookings (zero-price services) are confirmed immediately upon submission. Confirmation is communicated to both the business owner and the customer via email and WhatsApp.
Business owners may set the price of a service or space to zero, enabling customers to book at no charge. Free bookings are confirmed immediately without payment processing and are not subject to the Calendyfy platform commission or payment processor fees.
Business owners may configure services with recurring payment schedules (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly). Each billing cycle constitutes a separate confirmed booking transaction and is subject to the standard platform commission of 1.4% per cycle. Calendyfy does not guarantee continuous billing if a customer's payment method fails on renewal. Business owners are responsible for managing service access and notifying customers of failed renewals.
Business owners may add custom fields to their booking forms to collect additional information from customers at the time of booking (for example, style preferences, health disclosures, or specific requirements). Business owners are responsible for ensuring that any custom fields they create comply with applicable data protection laws and do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for delivering the service.
Cancellation policies are set by the individual business owner. Calendyfy is not responsible for refund disputes between business owners and customers. Business owners are responsible for clearly communicating their cancellation terms to customers.
Calendyfy uses atomic database transactions to prevent double bookings. However, in rare edge cases involving simultaneous requests, conflicts may occur. Calendyfy is not liable for losses arising from scheduling conflicts.
Business owners may request a payout of their available balance a minimum of one business day after the booking payment was received. This delay allows payment processors to settle funds to Calendyfy's account.
Your available payout balance is your total confirmed booking revenue minus the 1.4% Calendyfy commission, minus any previously processed payouts.
Payout processing times depend on your bank and are typically 1–3 business days after a request is approved.
Calendyfy reserves the right to withhold or delay payouts in cases of suspected fraud, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or annual cycle. Subscriptions auto-renew on the same cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your dashboard. Access to Pro features continues until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan. Pro-only content (logo, banner, iFrame configurations) will be deactivated but not deleted for 30 days, allowing you to re-subscribe and restore them.
Business owners are responsible for ensuring that their service and space listings, pricing, availability, and descriptions are accurate and not misleading.
Business owners are solely responsible for delivering the services or spaces they advertise. Calendyfy is not liable for any failure, defect, or dispute arising from the services provided.
Business owners must comply with all applicable Nigerian and local laws in operating their business, including consumer protection laws, tax obligations, and licensing requirements.
Business owners have access to customer data (name, contact details) provided through Calendyfy bookings. This data may only be used to facilitate the booked service and must not be used for unsolicited marketing or shared with third parties.
You may not use Calendyfy to: (a) facilitate illegal activities or services; (b) process fraudulent payments; (c) harass, abuse, or harm other users; (d) scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform; (e) upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights; (f) circumvent any access controls or security measures; (g) create multiple accounts to abuse free trial limits or referral programs.
All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Calendyfy platform are the intellectual property of Calendyfy. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission.
You retain ownership of content you upload to Calendyfy (logos, banners, service descriptions, space photos). By uploading, you grant Calendyfy a non-exclusive licence to display and use that content to operate the platform on your behalf.
Calendyfy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calendyfy's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Calendyfy in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Calendyfy is not liable for the actions, availability, or reliability of third-party services including Paystack, Paddle, Meta WhatsApp, Mailjet, Google, or any other integrated service.
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Outstanding payout requests will be processed before account closure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we determine that your use poses a risk to the platform or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of serious fraud.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Calendyfy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Calendyfy after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
